Sold my T-Rex 450 a while ago as I was fed-up of fixing it.
My Logo 600 3D Vbar is the most simple/low parts heli I've ever worked on. I don't see why it can't be scaled down more or less exactly as it is down to 450 size i.e. 325mm blades?? That would make it very simple to work on, especially the tail drive.
Might as well make it Vbar, the triple axis gyro is smaller than a 401 which is common on 450's. The Vbar unit is a bit bulky but can be fitted or maybe scaled down. Remember there is no flybar so that makes up for the Vbar unit. Not to mention that awesome power & cyclic increase!
I read somewhere Andy Rummer designed his own 450 class heli with a headspeed of 4000rpm?? Yikes!
