Hey all...been very distant from the Heli scene since retiring and getting a "civy" job but decided that was a year ago...so one year from helis is enought! I have made a New Years resolution that I will get back into the scene the first of the year...but...thought I would at least make the attempt a little before the first...and start now

I have a lot to catch up on...Geez...even the look of HeliFreak has changed! When did this happen??? I haven't even talked to Chris B or Malorie in months...nor picked up a transmitter since IRCHA...not even the G3 transmitter! :D

It is time to dust off the Turbine and the E-Magnums and get them ready for Clint's B-day in January...

Expect to be hearing me spout off here on the forums again! LOL!

Welcome back! I'm in the same situation: I had to "swear off" all things R/C for a while. I have a bunch of plank and heli builds to work on while it's too cold to fly. That way I'll be ready come spring.

Ya .. welcome back Greg .. you was even hard to get ahold of by phone ... hope your new years resolution works.. ;) and I am sure it will .
We are looking at some of Steve Nue's motors for the E Magnum ... The Actro's are to hard to get a hold of ...and I personally will not fly them any more !!!!
Last I talked to Chris (3 weeks ago or so ) they hadn't came in ...but that is because he was making us up some special ones with 6 mm shafts !!!! So no more bushings to build out the pulleys with .

Welcome Back! We were getting worried you had fallen of the face of the earth. Man, you've been gone so long I was able to learn to fly some aerobatics, not that it would impress anyone. Got both the Gasser and turbine where they are a pleasure to fly and the pucker factor is waning.

Hope to see you soon.

Thanks all...what is really bad is that MarkWebber lives less than 10 minutes down the road and I haven't seen or talked to him either!

Looks like I will be going to the Black Sheep event New Years weekend...can't wait...probably will crash since I haven't flown in so long...but you know what Chris says...

"Crash all you want...we'll make more!" hehehe! Oh...I am in trouble now!
