Hahahaha...crash

I flew my Mx for the first time outside today. It flew for a good 40sec until gravity decided that it should face plant into the floor :bawl. I must say, this heli is freaking stable and controls felt great. What really happened was that I was so used to flying on the sim, I forgot to extend my Tx antenna...:thumbup: I lost control from about 2 mistakes high and crashed. Luckily my throttle hold command came in just before it "touched down" :roll:. I thought it would be bad but I have most of the parts. Should be back up by Friday :YeaBaby:. !!!

Anyway, Just wanted to post some progress, the x400\450 forums are dead :(

i hear ya's on the dead thing. it doesn't seem that there are too many mx400/450 owners out there.

^^i don't buy that. i can't say the craftsmanship is shoddy, but it's far from great. i saw a walkera (up close and personal at the lhs) for the first time a few nights ago and i hate to say it, but the walkera seemed to be way better built.
and, problems aren't the only reason to post a thread. what about mods, questions, ideas ect. knowledge. look at how few problems the trex 450 sev2 has. that forum is busy. post a thread and have 15 replys in an hour.

I was just kidding.

It appears that there are way more rexes out there than MXs. I still like my MX, it does what I need and its fun flying. As I do not intend to do 3D, but only lazy scale flying, the MX is the perfect choce, and I can buy 3 or 4 of them for the price of one Rex.

^^no worries dude, i just thought for a minute maybe all of the mx owners i've spoken to have gotten a bad batch, but that there were good ones out there. i guess you get what you pay for though. if i could do it again i'd get a trex450 sev2 or a gauzar mars or possiedon.
