Ion X2 Motor belt tension

Hi guys, I got my ion up and running last weekend, and I was having a bit of a vibration issue, and I believe it was from the belt on the motor. I initially had it set so it was very tight, and loosening it seemed to help, so I was wondering how you guys like to set the tension on these. Thanks,

Hello Eric,

I set mine up by tightening up the tensioning bolt until you feel the belt reach full length (bolt kinda locks up or has a big noticeable increase in resistance). Then I back out the bolt between 1/4 and an 1/8th of a turn and torque down the CF motor plate. So far it has worked well for me.

I am interested in hearing other people's technique too.

Thanks, that worked great on mine. Got my first real flying on mine today and I'm extremely happy with it. Its amazingly smooth and powerful, and will be great flybarless.
