As I have been waiting for my JR9303 2.4 radio to arrive since August, I have been simming regularly and seem to be getting the knack of it. Last night practicing for whenever I can get my Raptor Titan in the air, my Realflight controller spring popped off on the elevator. Opening it up I found the tiny little of plastic pin has broken off. I bought this sim in June and I have been putting a lot of hours on it but you would think it would last longer than that.
Anyone know where you can get parts for it, or possibly a new controller? I have a copy of Reflex on its way but it is probably on the same boat as my radio and is useless without it. I don't really want to buy G4, although I would qualify for the 100 merchandise rebate.
Will G4's controller run G3.5? Probably not.
Any Ideas on what a dude should do?

First thing a dude should do is fill out his profile so we know where you live. If you live in North America you can send the controller to http://www.hobbyservices.com/ and they will fix it for you. It's about a ten day turnaround.

Same thing happened to me. I called and requested them to send me a new gimbal as I didn't want to wait for the turn-around time. All you have to do is unscrew the gimbal and pop off the 6 wires and re-solder on the new gimbal and stick it all back together. Took me 20 minutes altogether.
They really take care of you. At worst you send it in and they fix it for you for the cost of shipping. Mine was free!

Most deffinatly get in touch with Hobby Services. I sent mine back & they fixed me up at no charge:thumbup:, even though I tried to repair it myself:o.

So what is the cost for the repair? Mine broke the other day so I ended just buying G4. I would like to get my 3.5 fixed and then sell it.

Give *Great Planes* a call and see if they are going to charge you for it. They are really good about helping out and don't charge anything. They just file it under warranty. It's super easy to fix it yourself if you can do a half-@$$ descent solder job. They got my part to me in 3 days. As for sending it out, it'll take 2-3 weeks depending on their workload.

Horizon? I don't think they're going to do much with a Great Planes product ...
