drave... Ya know it would be better if you used the Trex500 forum for these questions. Thats what the forum is there for. MANY more users and you will get answers a lot faster with more participation. Also it allows others to see answers and learn. My forum here is really for questions about my videos not specific heli support.

Thanks,
Bob

Hey Bob,

In your first video thread you say:

"I will be using a JR X9303 radio with this heli so I thought I would do a quickly overview of setting up the radio. I plan to do a full blown setup another time but this should help some people get started. Next vids will go into more menus for doing servo setup."

I was hoping you were still gonna do a full blown video since a lot of us are moving over to the JR 9303.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Bob!

Thanks for all your videos! I've just finished watching them and almost finished building my 500! I'm only waiting for a few parts so I guess that it'll be over by next week (yes, orders take a LOOONG time to get to Paraguay!).

One thing though.. Do you have an approximate estimate for when your new videos (with all the curves and other heli configurations) are going to be up?

Can't wait to see them either!

Thanks again for your great help and support! Believe me I wouldn't have thought of getting into helicopters if it wasn't for you! You have been such a great help to us paraguayans that when I get to the USA i'll surely invite you a few beers!

Bob, just like to say a massive thank you for the T500 build vids, you made the build so easy and having followed them by the letter my heli hovered rock steady the first time I spun it up. Huge thanks from the UK.................

hi i just built my trex 500 and i like to have the nose of the helicopter facing me when i fly so when i pull the stick towards me the helicopter comes towards me the ailerons and pitch servos are alright but when i reverse the elevator the pitch of the blades are off because the elevator pulls down when i give it throttle. I have three hitec hs-82 mgs on cylic and futaba s9257 on the tail with gy401. Also does anyone have a good setup for the trex 500 using dx7 and ar7000 receiver. help is much appreciated. this is driving me insanehttp://www.helifreak.com/images/smilies/BangHead.gif

Sounds like you have your swash mix in your transmitter is a little out of whack. Try reversing the elevator in your swash setup in the transmitter. All three (ail, pit, elev.) should move up when increasing pitch/adding throttle. Have you watched Finless' videos? Also, when flying the heli "nose in" or pointing toward you the heli should move away from you when you pull the stick toward you.

my main gear wobble alot, both the high and the low one, And I noticed that before i had tighten it up. I have tested to re assembly the main gear but cant get the lower one of the one way bearing. Can i fly with this wobbling main gear or should i buy a new one?

BAD ALIGN!

I just finished my 500 this week and have been flying it this week.

The videos were awesome. I dont know what i would have done without them.

Setting up the radio, swash, throttle and pitch curves went perfect.

my heli hovered perfectly first flight, i didnt have to touch my trims.

This was my first heli build, the videos answered all of my questions

Thanks bob for taking the time to put out a top rate video.
