The DuBro Heavy Duty Servo Arms (not the Long ones) for Hitec fit the 5245s and the shart arm is 16.5mm to the second hole out from center, and the mid length arms are 16.5mm to the second hole out from center.

I just checked some. :)

Someone PMd me for the part numbers for the DuBro hrons.

So I looked them up. According to the Tower page, the LONG ones (Part Num 672) have holes at 15 mm for the Short and Medium horns, and the Normal ones (Part Num 675) have holes at 16mm for the Long, Dual and Triple horns.

I am home sick, so I should be able to check them again, if my brain allows me to remember. :)

OK, I checked, BUT sets of horns have holes at what I measure at 16.25mm. The better ones for helis would be the #675 horns. The #672 horns are super heavy duty and more for Giant Scale types. Tower calls the #672 Long, but they are Super Heavy Duty.

The 675 set has two longer horns that will work, plus the double and triple arms ones that you can cut the extra amrs off. There are 4 short ones, that are too short.

Hot glue stick to wires good but don't stick to shinny flat surface very well. Shoo goo stick to almost everything.

I went for a little piece of hot glue, like 1mm; should be fine

I got 5245MGs for the cyclic; seems the box is missing two spacer for the elevator servo. Maybe we don't need them.

In fact the spacers on the aileron servos are necessary cause both servos don't fit in the frame; we need to space them to make them fit.

The HS metal gear make a PERFECT 90° at middle stick.

What is Shoo Goo?
I guess it is some kind of universal glue, but does it have a more "international name"
that can be understood "on the other side of the pond" as well?

Shoo goo is what I was using to put on my old vans when skateboarding :) This prevent from the grip to scratch your shoes :D

Yep... Align needs to put in another set of spacers for the HS5245 servos because the elevator ball link is not straight up and down. So now I gotta show how to make a set of spacers :(

If you cant find shoe goo then the best substitute is rubber or contact cement!

bob, will a 450 size heli pitch gauge work on these blades? that's all i have but i doubt the 500 blades will fit easily. if i'll need another pitch gauge could you recommend one?

If you have the align pitch gauge (that is the only small one I have) it will fit the 425 blades without any problems. I use it for my lepton.

Yep just checked myself and you can use it.
