im not sure if the hs82s will work good, i haven't even tried the helicopter with the 3400g servos yet!

i will do a comprehensive of stuff hopefully and as quick as possible so that again, when you guys buy your kits youll have an idea of what to expect

i do plan on trying a full size servo in the back also, just to see what happens, i have a 611 to my disposal as well as a 401 with a 9254.

you want an auto.....AUTO IT IS :thumbup:......maybe bob should do this one first hehehe

All joking aside, I know you are a very capable flyer that will test the 500 to its limits. All I ask for is one [right-side-up:)] auto if you get comfortable with it!

Do you plan on implementing the tailrotor counterbalance mod?

Does the Trex 500 have a belt drive, and if so, given that a belt drive is a "van de graff" generator(although inefficient) would you then recommend a wire to the frame that is also connected to the negative lead on the ESC to ensure that the BEC voltage is referenced from that neg lead, regardless of the potential static generated by the tailrotor belt so that the frame and avionics are not floating with respect to the "ground", i.e. the negative of the lipo power lead?

Yes, the T-Rex 500 comes stock with a belt-driven tail.

I'd reccomend grounding the boom only as a reaction, not as a precaution. It is very rare for a belt-driven T-Rex to suffer from static discharge..

Autos.... Well here is the deal... As you can see I had NO crawl space and I can auto ANY heli. The 500 is not that easy but better than the 450 for sure....

there were no bad intentions when i posted the two pictures i did on runryder. they were the same pictures that i posted on helifreak and on thetrexforums. it was a picture of me wearing a readyheli shirt and holding the new align 500 box :)

i did remove the pictures and just talked about it but i didn't know that mark was so angry for that, boy, i met him in person also and he didn't seem like the kind of person.
