I have a problem I can't fix!
See if you can help.
Setup Honey Bee cp2 with brushless hack on stock 4 in 1 .
HDX 300 3800kv motor with 9T pinion.
Thunder bird 18A ESC.
TP 1320 pro-lite 3 cell batteries ( 3 of them almost new .)
I am using brushless motor on main only with twin stock tail motor setup.

Problem , everything works great at start of flight.
Might be one or two minutes into flight motor will start to slow down ,just like the battery was running out of power . Land because helicopter doesn't have enough power to stay in air.
After landing with everything still powered up check servos and if motors are hot. ( nope there cool not hot at all. Cold outside so ESC is not hot.
Try and take off and it will hover for 3 or 4 seconds and slows down again.
Next,, unplug battery and re-arm 4 in 1 ,all power is back! Now I can hammer it for the next 7 to 8 minutes and everything works great....
I might be able to fly 3 or so batteries and everything works just like it should. Then here we go again. The 4 in 1 is all green and everything looks good but not enough power to even hover until I unplug battery and plug it in again.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Dan T
PS: I was thinking there might be a cold solder joint but can't find any.

brushless hack?...are you using the adaptor to convert brushed signal to brushless? Check your throttle and pitch settings. Make allowance for the rotor to spool up to speed before it pitches up to prevent bogging down the motor. Also check for excessive pitch.

Brushless hack,( answer , you solder wire's to channel 3 in stock 4 in 1)so you can plug in your brushless ESC with power wire (center wire removed .)
This has been done many times and has been posted for years.
Next,, it's not a pitch or bog problem .
It's works great , most of the time.

OK I think your problem is that the signal wire from the receiver is still connected to the brushed ESC on the 4 in 1. This might be interrupting with the signal going into the brushless ESC(signal sharing), the alternative is to get the brushed to brushless signal converter from helidirect.
