help please carb setting trouble

i just bought a used raptor ,30 v1 with ,36 engine and i am having trouble getting it to run ive found the settings for the high end needle but not the low end does anyone know the setting or where i can find it ,its not in the engine manual ive got it and someone told me that there was something i could do to the needle on the low or hi side, has anyone heard of this ,i need help please ,thanks
