Cool!

Personally - I wish they'd of left the canopy shape alone. I think the original canopy loft was the sweeeetest out there! That's what made the T-rex a T-rex.

If Align comes out with a replacement "T-rex" canopy for the 500, I will be first in line. Although, of course, it won't stop me from buying a 500.

Just my opinion.

Can we get a couple of shots more? Bird's eye view of them lined up by the main shaft and by the tip of the canopy. If bird's eye view is difficult to shoot, maybe at 45 degree angle.

Make sure you cleverly cover the "Align" logos like in the movies to keep the RR police off your back.

Damn, now I know what a crack addict must feel like. I look at those pictures and evil thoughts go through my head about what I must do to have all three of them. (currently only have the little one the far left) I might just make a cardboard sign that says "will work for Align products" and stand on a corner.

I agree with the preference to the older canopy look. Also the landing gear on the 500 seems to sit up really high. It doesn't really have that mean badass look that the 450 and 600 have IMO. That being said If it flies nice it don't matter too much.

just a side note, the landing gear does look alittle tall, but in the picture, my trex 450 has low profile gorilla landing gear. which makes it look taler than it really is. perhaps a half centimeter lower and it will look right IMO

I'm sure it won't be too long before aftermarket companies start coming out with upgrade or replacement parts. It still looks realy nice. certainly compared to some of the other helis made by other companies.
