Hi, this is Jezuz form Hermosillo, Sonora, México.
I am a novice in this of the helis, and I have a doubt about the HXD500SAH... please help me. Can I use 2 3S1P packs in parallel without problems in the performance? I'll use Align 100 amp ESC W/O BEC external, DX7, AR7000, HS85MG for the Cyclic, GY401, S9257 Tail servo and stock motor.
If I not use the external BEC, no problem, rigth?
It this heli suitable by 3D?
Sorry for my English.
Thank you for you reply.

you setup is good, not your heli.
I am not sure about the bec, but I think you need an step-down for your s9257. I always use 5v for al my servos, but thats just me not liking to burn my servos :)
3D? NOT EVEN CLOSE! even using 4s setup you will never get any 3d good out of this heli, there are so many problems that you can kiss 3d goodbye using 3s or 4s setup.
1) gear brokes on just thinking about tictocs
2) low pitch range
3) low cyclic
4) tailboom is short and give not authority
5) tailblades are short and give not authority
6) tailpully is large and give not authority
7) standard motor is an hot oven
8) standard esc have an softstart to rip your gears off
there have been some iprovment, like langer flybar 5mm langer so that is a big big diffrent :) almost 2% longer! WOW!
New light 3d paddels are heavier then stock ones:) but hey, they called an upgrade, so just buy it :)
V2 head will give you more pich but still binding :) No wonder that they dont give any manual for V2 head. What should they put on it? this are the lenghts that give you some good binding :)
13T tailpully is mega good. 14T to 13T can hold your tail on normaal fff flying, maybe next upgrade will be 10T wich will hold your tail also on full pitch but then 10T will cause belt issue.
they have an upgrade on maingear, so it will not strip easy, but if you order any spares be carefull that you may get the old one, its like the lotery. do you feel lucky?
As I just said, there are a lot improvment that can give you some dreams about 3d, but It will be an dream :) I fly my hdx wild 3d every night in my sleep.
and dont worry about your english, mine isnt good also but I am still flying :)

3D? NOT EVEN CLOSE!
I used a mix of plastic and metal parts and mine seems to 3d just fine. Tictocs are quite fast actually. I do however recomend using all metal if you are going to fly it hard. With 463mm blades and 6s mine is a monster for 4 minutes of hard 3d.
