I just purchased a Trex 450 and someone on this site figured that I should check out the H550 instead of the Trex 600 for x-mas... Well, I did, and I am HOOKED!

I have the cash now, where is a good place to buy the kit with no electronics.. I wanna bling this baby out myself..

Thanks..

i'll give you my top three picks for places to get the h550. #1 readyheli.com, #2 readyheli.com, #3 readyheli.com
the prices between the two places i think are the same, although readyheli has free shipping on orders over $100. i got my h550 xes from ready, and it came with some damage from shipping (not ready's fault what-so-ever), and after one email within 5 minutes i had a reply and they sent out all of the parts to make it right sight-unseen. plus a $25 gift card for the small scratch on the canopy. as long as ready has the part in stock they are always going to be my first choice, they've earned a lifelong customer.

So far I have been extremly happy with Readyheli's prices and shipping. Most parts seem to be the same prices on all sites but Readyheli has been my first choice.

have also purchased from Helidirect and they are also fast.

It's nice to have these on-line hobby shops give such good service...

I usually shop at helidirect because they are in Mass. and i am in CT. so shipping is really fast. They also have free shipping..

I think I will be shopping with ReadyHeli for H550 items because they seem to have more parts for it..

Thanks..

ReadyHeli has free shipping over $100.

The normally ship same day and things show up in 2 days. 4 days to Europe. :)

HeliDirect is not a bad vendor, it is just the RH is SO good. And any vendor that can get kicked off RR is even better in my mind. :)

Not that enough hasn't been said of Readyheli already - but here is plus 1 from me.

They really are as good as everyone is saying.

Mark R's loss... not only from not having one of the Best vendors around to be represented on RR for his members... but also a HUGE hit to his pocket book. (sorry for the rant... but I still don't get or like it. Doesn't make much sense. I feel better now ;))

I usualy ordered all my stuff from flying-hobby which is really an ok shop once you get across the language barrier, but since i been in contact with RH for some revco gears, i must say im very impressed by the speed they proces orders, the prices, reasonable shippingcosts and mostly the aftersales.

Recently i received a (slightly) damaged 550 canopy from RH (not their fault at all as it was in manufacturing packaging) and it was refunded without questions asked. The few times i complained about damaged or missing items at other shops, it was always a big effort to get it sorted (if it got sorted et all)

With service like that, im willing to pay more for my stuff! RH provides this great service and still have very competetive pricing. Big thumbs up for ReadyHeli.

Hopefully they will expand the assortment on H550 upgrades soon.

Heck, my kit had a dented boom, and RH included a new boom in the package. :)
