Hi Ihave just buy an TREX600Npro
I have an t9chp (ff9) futaba radio.
Can you explain how I must tune my radio?

I'm using the 9chp too, swash sr-3 ,turn OFF ALL mixes in menu's. my set up is pitch linear ,throttle 100,65,55,65,100 on all three idle ups, I'm not sure if I will keep the throttle curves yet as I only have 8 tanks through it and haven't experimented yet . good luck

You would not want those curves on all three idle up how do you mean to start the heli without it spooling up in your hand, also how would you stop it???

Idle1 for example needs to start from 0

do you mean normal?

yeah in diff radios it is called different

futaba is norm, idle 1 , 2

Jr , spectrum , is norm , stunt1,2

but which ever radio you use, you need to start one of your curves with "0" that is normally "norm"

for example 0 , 25, 50, 75, 100 with a curve like that you are able to start your heli up safely with out it spooling up in your hand , starting your heli at mid throt cloud be dangerous....

I always thought all radios had normal and idle1/stunt1 and then idle2/stunt2 if they have 2 idles. But i agree on never having a flight mode without a 0 start! hell that would be dodgy!

There was just a little confusion between the modes you were running thats all:thumbup:

You stated that you run that curve on all three idle ups. Do you have four flight modes on your radio ??

my old futaba , Jr only had three and my Dx7 only has three... If I found it a bit bewildering in what you meant, then someone who is just joining this hobby would too, I just didn't want some one to hurt them self as accidents do happen..

Yes the 9chp has 4 modes on it and the original poster did not state that they were a newbie nor was this post it the newbie section . sorry I'm not a psychic !:wow2:

when my throttle hold is on doesnt matter what mode your in the blades arent going to turn at all no spool up no nothing just sits there running. But still I would think that you would check your stuff out before firing up wouldnt you. That would be a big surprise to fire up in idle up.

Newbs dont "know" this and some might start the heli in normal mode w/ throttle hold off.. yes i've seen people do this and had to correct them on it
