ya the tail may wag with the engine set at 1.5 turns, if its not bad and your just running in the engine then run a few more tanks thru the engine before you change the gain on the gyro, i had the same gyro 401 on one of my trexs and it did the same till i leaned the engine out. the tail waged with my logicteh 6100 to at 1.5 turns.

1.5 turns is not "very rich" depending on the fuel you are using.

Some things to take into consideration, is your servo arm short enough so you have the limit pot at or slightly above 100?

If so your gain should be 50 to 65 percent.

I am using some Norwegian fuel called Jero. Helimix 15/15. I now that many runs on 30% but mybe I do that when I get more exsperiense.

That should be fine. Higher nitro requires a richer needle so the "1.5 turns" may be too rich, just right, or burning up depending on weather, muffler and fuel.
