Awesome paint job (and heli :D). I may have to contact them when it's time to replace my canopy.

Sweet! Now, have you gotten to fly it yet?

Unfortunatly no,
The weather has sucked the past couple of weeks,
windy(30 to 40 mph), rain, snow, and cold, but i'll get her up when the weather permits.

I'm in the same position anyhow. I just put my new stratus together and am awaiting the maiden. Since I caked the other one, I HAVE to be gentle so as I will have a heli at least until the summer.

Have you given any thought about converting to an E-stratus?
That looks pretty good to me, easy too, but i'm an E-heli kind of guy.

The canopy does look cool.

Thanks Laddy, but Bill at Airizona helis deserves the credit for that.
But i am learning the technique to do the TrueFire effect.
Maybe one day i'll be doing my own fire paint.

I would love to try an E-Stratus but I'm a college student and he limited funds could never cover the cost of an electric much less the just the lipos.

Thats understandable, those lipos can get costly,
especially if you damage them in a crash .(i hate it when that happens)

nzreg,Thanks for your approval,
I have a 12s setup, tp 4500 extreme and also setup evo 25 4350's.
I have an actro 32-3 (5HP baby) with the 11.26:1 ratio and i'm using a schulze 40-160 esc.(might try 14s in the future,hence the 40-160).
Spektrum dx-7 with the ar7000 reciever.
A 611 gyro with the s9256 servo.
Jr ds8717 collective servos, and i'm running two voltage regs, 6v for the collective and 5v for the 611.
105 mm V blades on the tail and i'm going to try the new V 710 tst main blades,i also will try the 690's and Radix 710's and i have some Rotortech 695's to try out.
When the weather gets better i'll let you guys know what blades work best for me.
Well i think that just about covers it.If you have anyother questions, or if i left something out just let me know.

Wow, i've been having trouble logging on, this is the first time i could log on in about a week.(don't know why).
Anywho, there are many other pilots with much more knowledge in that area than i do, and could most likely provide you with what works for them.
Also you can see what works good on any of the many videos here on the freak.

I've always used 710 v's but have yet to hear about any power savings with the TST's. I'm sure it's there but was still curious about how much more efficient they are than the old V2's.
