What kind of pricing are we talking about? If you can beat the local prices for me here in S.C. - I'd buy a case.

Mac has got the BEST prices on fuel. The LHS here sells CP 30% for $28/ gal so anything is better than that.

Are you going to make it to this FF Brian?

Mac was getting $70-72 a case for Cool Power 30%. I would think that is the price he still sells it for.

They sell Cool Power 30% fuel at $22/gal here.

Caleb - I'm thinking about going. Starting to get frustrated with my heli though. Still having problems setting it up.

Although I flew heli's from 1995-1999 this was the first heli I've had to build (bought it used/built but the new switch I installed failed after 3 flights, my fault for buying a cheap switch).Anyways I always worked so much in the past, that I didn't have time to build or set up so I just paid someone else to do it. And with the changes in Tech since then. This is like a whole new ball game for me. I had it set up about 1/2 way there. But there was/is still a lot I wasn't aware of.

I did get lucky and was able to met up with Bobby Watts on saturday and he took 4hrs setting up and fine tuning my Fury. I went through a 1/2 gallon on saturday with Bobby and then a full gallon of fuel on sunday at my local club. I had a smile on my face ear to ear once I got to fly after bobby was done helping me.
Was like a whole new machine. I finally had menuverability, he got ride of almost all the vibration in my heli, and my GY611 finally locks in place (the vibration I had was causing a tail wag and occasional drift).
I can't thank him enough. I guess the good side of having all this down time was it gave me a lot of time to practice on the G4 sim.

Update - The Jameson Inn in Americus (229-924-2726) is offering a special $55/night rate for the event. This rate is for a room with two king size beds. This hotel is approx. 10 minutes from the field. :banana

I'm curious....with the weather that was predicted for the weekend...how many made the drive? I had like two hours of decent weather at the house today...from cold/fog to thunderstorms/showers...just wanted to know...maybe I'll still make it tomorrow.....

Well guys the weather certainly didnt cooperate for us this weekend. I just got home from Mac's. Saturday we had about 10 people hanging out, and a few got in flights during breaks in the rain. Today the weather was better but pretty much everyone was already headed home. Thanks to those who attended and put up with the weather and to Mac for being a great host as always. Looking forward to the Fall event October 24-26, see you there!
