Will not sure what is wrong. I spool up my Hurri 550 XES and at low head speed the whole heli dances around. But when the head speed is at middle to hight the dancing goes away. But also when I decrease the head speed the same old dance. I checked the blade grips to make sure they were tight and they were. check the head to make sure it was not unbalanced. The main shaft is not bent. The blades are balanced. So what is going on?

Thanks

Maybe the main grips are too tight....try loosening them up a little..if that doesn't do it...tighten back up...I had the same problem on an ECO8 and an experieinced heli guy had me tighten them up much more than I thought they should be and it went away...
It is usally caused by one blade leading the other until centrifugal force flings both out...

just try playing with it...

Does this also apply on spool down?

also check tail belt tension, try loosening it or then tighen it. I had a problem with mine and found the tail causes some type of resonence.. I run my belt on the loose side and spool up quickly, get the blades spinning the go quickly past the 1/4 throttle to about 1/2, same with spoon down, if I hold it at 1/4 it shakes.

I will have to check the belt to make sure its not to tight. Also how loose should the tail blades be? This is the first heli that i have had this problem. I hope this isn't a common problem for the Hurri. Was a little dissapointed to see this happening to a great heli. Will need to get a new tail fin it got busted do to the really bad chicken dance. Thanks
