Which electric 90 would you recommend? I'm thinking of either the Joker 2, or the Ion X (or Ion X2).

I am looking for the same thing you are. I am leaning towards the Ion X2. It also looks like quite a few people have been able to relatively esily convert the Ma Stratrus to electric.

I am still doing my research, (and I am hoping to get clearance from the wife in the next cou[ple of weeks to make the purchase!!!).

As at today, the Ion X2 looks like the winner.

There is also some european company called Henseleit that makes 90 size electric heli kits, but their web site seems to be down.

Good luck, let me know what you decide!

Joker 2
I like how secure and protected the packs are. thats alot of pact to not be protected. I crashed a Joker 2 HARD and the packs came out without a scratch. On 12S it is absurd power and can handle several motors easily. Any other questions let me know.

Hi clayboy,

For me, the henseleit is very good.
I have got a Genesis benda, a shuttle hirobo, a falcon century, a millenium robbe, a logo10 and 14
Actually, I have a millenium electro class90 or 700, a century swift620SE, a T500 and the 3D MP XL E.
The concept is very good with a lot of good idea for the 'repairing'. The mechanical is simply and the adjustement is perfect.
I have this machine for 15 days ans I do 2 flight but I know the big potential ;)
In flight, the machine fly right with a beautiful line.
For me, it's the best of my machines :)
Also, my flight is f3c and 3D soft.
