Hey Guys,

Looking for ideas on how to cure a glitching HS-55 servo on my CPP.

It’s only one servo that’s got the problem (others are okay). The servo was crashed hard enough to strip the gears (twice). Gears are replaced, but it still glitches on occasion. I took it apart and the servo motor wants to always run. Is this normal?

Probably just need to buy a new one, but thought I check in and see if anyone any similar experiences or ideas.

I would suggest looking at the servo wire where it meets the actual servo board (the solder joints) and make sure you haven't broken and thing there. Then check the wire for any breaks all the way back to the connector. Also, try plugging it in on another channel to the receiver and see if the problem still exists. If the problem follows the servo on the new channel you know for sure its the servo, if not then you may have a problem with the receiver.
