Those gears......again.

I just stripped my early version main primary gear (engages with motor pinion). I've read the threads regarding the OK and Revco gears, checking the bearings and the updated motor mount etc but I can't find one piece of info.

It looks like I have to disassemble the whole frame to get the gear out for changing. Is this correct or am I missing an obvious quick route?

I don't want to take it apart having built it up a la Finless' vids (thanks Bob!) if it can be made to slip out.
Help please!!

p.s Bob I've rewired the Heli now - much better, much neater.

no the gear comes right out with no dissasembly. you just need to loosen the grub screws and the shaft slides up so the gear comes out (the complete gear and hub) then just remove the 3 screws holding the main gear on the hub.
