eflite esc, 401 gyro with evo25 flightpower lipo

Hey i was refered here by local hobby shop and im absolutely stuck. I've been watching some of the videos on here but unfortunately none have the combo of components i have.

I have the following.

25 amp eflite pro brushless esc
401 gyro
evo25 v-power 2170mah battery by flightpower
and a dx7 reciever

If anyone knows these items please let me know where i can look or anyone can offer help. This is my first heli (mx400) im building and i thought i had it down path but right now nothing is making sense.

The esc has the EC3 connectors 3 wires for motor and im asuming one 3 wire plug for reciever. I have no idea where battery goes into, what i should be soldering. Hobby shop explained to me today but after looking at this esc it doesn't make sense to solder the deans or does it?

If im lacking info let me know what you would need to offer some help..

You can either put a Deans in place of the EC3 on the ESC, or put an EC3 on the pack. Both are good connectors. But I use Deans on all my stuff. I just swapped an EC3 off of an Align controller to a Deans.
