Any ideas when the new taller CNC center hubs will be arriving?
Love the new frame BTW.
Oh, and any updates on the new tail pulley?

Yes but the Dark colored parts have a diffrent name to them ;) More to folllow on that on a diffrent post :D

Wow. $185 for the whole new head.
Will it work on the HDX500? Same swash and mainshaft?
Well, I ordered it and the 13T tail pulley anyway. Heres hoping it works.

yea I noticed the new parts had the 550 designation does this mean we will be able to run 500mm blades now?
My sources say thats an upgrade for the Hurricane, not the HDX500.

Its an upgrade for one heli also parts for one of our new birds in the cage But more on that later ;)

won't be long until you see HDX550 thread. This is not as any other HDX helicopters. This heli is designed and tested by Charley so you know it will not have any problem. Fly 3D right out of the box. New frame with total new gear ratio will come soon. Yep it's still in the case but it won't stay inside longer than early Feb 2008 :)

for those that have HDX500SE, if you want to upgrade to 3D performance, you need to get these parts in the picture below.

I have the all metal head with the longer mixing arms on my hdx500, so for the upgrade I just need the new rotor hub and flybar and tail gear correct?

if you want, you can get 13T tail pulley to speed up the tail too.

The V1 or V2 head?
You can tell my looking at it. The V1 head block is square. The V2 (taller) head block is rounded.

Charley, I'm confussed about one thing. As per our telephone conversation, you had stated that the upgraded 3d parts for the SE/SA would include a new configed swash. I guess my question is should I get the new version head or wait for your upgrades. I really would like it to fly like yours in the video........

During our last conversation more tests were done with other configurations that worked equally well. So a decision was made to cut the use of the new swash as it would not allow those who owned an SE kit to use them.
But with the parts that are being released now It will perform to what you have seen in the latest videos

Welp, I got my order today. Unfortunately I was shipped the wrong part. I got another plastic hub :(.
I did get the new flybar and tail pulley. Ill set them up when I have all the parts....

For the ones that have HDX500SA helicopters, this is the upgrade kit for 3D performance.
