Hello I was just wanting to know where you guys purchased your esky stuff. I see most is overseas. How was shipping. How long did it take. None of my local hobby store carry esky stuff. I would like to buy one but dont like the idea of waiting a long time for shipping of parts. Hopefully someone can tell me some good news. Thanks

I use www.helidirect.com for all the non e-sky upgrades.
www.jaghobbies.com for the cheapest prices on e-sky original parts.

Another vote for Jag! No shipping confirmation, but the package always arrives before I start wondering where it is. I wish I could say the same for all vendors. For non HBK2 specific parts I like readyheli and helidirect.

Same with BPHobbies, no notice but usually 3 days from coast to coast!

what would be a better heli to buy, the honey bee king 2 or the belt cp. It will be my first . I want to start small before I invest in something big.

well if its your first time flying, i would recommend a FP or co-ax heli.. but if your set on a CP.. probably the king

a few weeks ago my son-in-law each purchased a E-Sky CP. After I quickly crashed mine we agreed to stock up on spare parts. So I placed an order with X-Heli. The total of the order (not including out of stock items) was $255 plus shipping. I waited 6 bus, day to receive the order. The shipping receipt listed $227 orth of parts and my credit card was billed for $227. But I only received $74 worth of parts. Since the recept of the order I have emailed X-Heli 3 times and called them once (that's a joke) to resolve the problem. The best I have received is an email telling me that they will contact me ASAP. However, they have emailed me twice to confirm that I have received the shipment. In each case I have explained the problem and requesed them to contact me. I have entered a dispute with my credit card company and refused any payment over $74. And screw them for the shipping charges. :clappp

Does anyone know a place in the Elgin Illinois area that sells E-Sky Belt CP parts over the counter? I have ordered parts from X-Heli and they are slow and the screwed up the order. I have purchased parts from Hobby Town in St. Charles ILL. over the counter but they don't handle E-Sky they handle E-Flight but some of the parts interchange. So far I can't find anyone that sells E-Sky parts over the counter in my area.

Haven't seen it, but before I started seeing all these other heli sites like HeliDirect, i used www.hobby-lobby.com

Xheli is fine if they get your order right. Otherwise they are -painful- to deal with.

I've bought many things from BP Hobbies and could not be happier with them. Lots of stuff in stock and very fast shipping.

Try helidirect or BP hobbies.

Never had a problem with Xheli, god knows how much money i've spent with them already on both full setups and parts for multiple people..

Alone RTF Belts i have ordered 7, not to mention parts.....

Oh...btw...all that work I did setting up my Belt perfectly for the guy I sold it to....even went so far as to get that rate gyro setup just right, and tail servo 'just right' so it would hold a nice nose forward hover.

...he didn't even get it off the ground. Flipped it over and beat itself to death on the maiden flight.

BPHobbies, HeliDirect, and Ka-Planes are my Favs for Esky parts, but I find that for my HBFP's, if I do somehunting of other sites (ones that don't carry Esky stuff) I can find some really cool parts as well as interchangeable parts, I know that can be done with all helis but its a little harder for the HBFP.
