Duralite Gemini reg and batts?

Would this be overkill on a 3D heli? It take 2 batteries @ 3.5 oz each and a the reg. @ 1.6 oz. this is just a tad bit more than the 2700mah 6V pack I ran in my last heli. anyone have experience with this system? A redundant system just sounds so nice...

I have been using the Gemini system for nearly a year now. Works great and the redundant system gives peace of mind. I have actually flown with just one side turned on.
