I'm taking 'er up tomorrow for the first time. Can you see anything I might've done wrong?

The only things that I see are;
1. The elevator pushrod to the servo appears to be to long.
The two arms in the elevator system appear to be vertical so the servo arm should be vertical also.
2. You need to add something to hold down the RX and battery.
Using just servo tape is just asking to have them fall off in the air.
I really like the method that is called out in the assembly manual.
It is an elastic tape used for bandaging a horses leg and should be available at bigger pet supply or farm supply places.
If that is not available then the next best option would be some Velcro straps.
3. on the left side the 2 wires for the gyro should be dressed to the 2 tabs so they are not flopping around. Remember that a wire can only bend so many times before it breaks.
That is all that I can tell from the pictures.
If there are any pilots at your field that can give it a once over in person that is always a good idea.
Everyone misses something every once in a while.
Good luck on your maiden.

I see 2 more things.
One is the collective link rod should be vertical, flip the servo around or do something so it's straight up and down. Don't forget to check it after for PROPER direction.
The second one, I'd put a fuel line clamp on the tubing going to the carb. If fueled up and sitting for a few minutes it can flood the carb and case and cause hydo-lock. This can cause the fan to unscrew off the engine and jam up into the clutch bell when starting it up.
A fuel filter is not a bad idea too.
Adding on to what the Fool said, I'd also neaten up your wiring.
One more thing, later on down the road you might be interested in mounting your tail servo on the boom. Gohbee sell this add-on and it works VERY well.
It looks pretty good though! Good luck on the maiden

Tail rod is routed through the wrong holes. It should be routed through the two holes by the idler pulleys. You will also need the larger futaba servo horn. Elevator rod is to long, make sure its 90 degree to the others. Get some small wire loom from the auto part store for the gyro wires, make sure the wires dont rest on the frame. If any vibration is present it can chaffe the wires. Wrap those electronics in some foam, you thank me later.Good luck and have fun.

Hey, appreciate the replies. I didn't get to take it up yesterday, had about 25 mph winds. Gonna print this forum and mess around with it today (still crappy out.)

Here's an example of the exposed wiring...Tied down w/ protective sleeves.
Another shot of the fuel clamp w/ filter.
Good luck with first flight!
