Hello all,

I purchased a HDX500SE (should be here tomorrow) and as wondering if anyone knows if JR NES-3121 servos will fit? I have these laying around NIB and would like to put them to use.

Here is my planned set-up:

Kora 15-12 with Revco 21t pinion
CC Phoneix 80
Koolflight UBEC
JR 3121 servos (if they fit)
GY401 with 9257
13t tail gear
MJP Carbon tail lift for Lepton
SAB 430 blades for sport flying
RotorTech 430 blades for 3D
FP EVO 25 4S 3700

Well, the JR 3121 servos I had didn't work out. They fit, but the holes didn't line up with the holes in the servo mount. I changed them to HS-85 MG's.

My actual set-up:

Kora 15-12 with Revco 21t pinion
Castle Creations Phoneix 80
Castle Creations BEC
Hitec HS-85MG cyclic servos
GY401 with 9257 servo
13t tail gear
SAB 430 blades for sport flying
RotorTech 430 blades for 3D
FP EVO 25 4S 3700

This setup is giving me a headspeed of 2490 which seems fine for sport flying and mild 3D. So far, I'm very happy with this heli. Although, I will probably try some larger pinions once I upgrade to the V2 parts.

Wondering if you tried out your Rotortecs yet. Been wanting to get them and have been drooling over them for my 500SE and waiting to arrive Century Hawk Pro:thumbup:

The RotorTech blades are very nice. They are light, quick and very smooth running. Not the best for autos due to the lighter weight, but other than that I really like them. A good friend of mine uses them on his Swift and loves them too. I think they are a great 3D blade.
