I am ready to setup my R30 V2 for 3D. i adjusted all the push rods to the proper length but i still can not get full - pitch. I have + all the way. I have the push rod on the inner hole but the manual says to set 6+ at half stick i think this is why i only get about -4 at the bottom. Should i set the pitch at 0 at mid stick?

Yes, set the pitch at zero at mid stick. Here is how I do it. Start with a linear pitch curve. Then turn the servo around so the arm is pointing to the rear. This will give a more linear movement of the collective pitch arm. Make sure to reverse your collective channel when you do this. Check that the servo arm is centered at mid stick. It is best to do this mechanically by trying different positions with a four sided servo arm, but it's OK to use a little sub trim to get the servo arm centered. Next check the position of the collective pitch control arm. It should be at mid travel as viewed at the half moon openings in the frame. If it is not adjust the collective push rod until it is. The double links should be fully closed. Next with the swash plate level, adjust the rods from the swash plate to the mixer until the mixer arms are level. These rods must be exactly the same length. Mount your blades and check your pitch. You should be very close to zero at mid stick, if not adjust the rods from the swash to the mixer until you are at zero pitch. Next check your max and min pitch, which should be about the same. It's OK to use a little ATV to achieve your desired pitch, but it is best to get it as close as you can mechanically by changing the position of the link ball on the collective servo.
I hope this helps.
