Just courious about how much I accutally need to get for my new TRex600, to be able to run enough power supply to feed two chargers for 6sp packs. I think a 25A power supply should be enoug to run the two chargers.

Thanks for any info.

A 1Kw generator will do it no problem. We've run 5 TP1010s off a Honda 2Kw generator and the generator never came off Eco-mode..

If you're going to charge 6S packs at 1C, a 25A power supply should be enough to run two chargers

Just remember the noise when considering a generator. Some of the cheap ones are very loud and run flat out all the time.

I buy power supplies from mpja.com.

I"m assuming the computer ones like a 600w 40A for like $33.

This one will run a TP1010c pushing 6S at 1.5C. Just hook a fan to it and tweak the voltage adjuster back up to 12V at full load.

This one will run a couple 1010Cs with no problem:

We flog the hell out of the 12.5A version at work and have had ONE unit fail on us out of the 60 or so we've purchased in the past year or so and that one MIGHT have been nuked by a dead short caused by a newbie in the shop.

You will have to wire up the line cord to plug it in and make some pigtails to connect to your charger...
