Does anyone know if a Futaba BLS251 brushless tail rotor servo can be used with a CY Solid G gyro? The instructions with the servo say to use only with Futaba 601/611 gyros.

Futaba thinks they are the only game in town when it comes to short pulse servo support.
It will work with the Solid-G, CSM 720 and any other gyro that supports 760us center pulse width just make sure you read the instructions and set up the gyro correctly.

Not really, Same with any manufactuer. They are going to tell you what product of theirs that the product is compatible with. The BLS 251 is only compatible with the Futaba 601/611 gyro. That is the only gyros that Futaba makes that the servo is compatible.

I know.
The important thing is it's not compatable with the 401, a misconception that cropped up when they first came out, exaccerbated by conflicting information on Futaba's web site and Tower Hobbies tech notes.

Andy---- The only way to change the pulse center is to know which of the offered servos would be the same. The selection is F9253/JR8900, Fut9251/56, Standard, and JR8700G. Any suggestions?
