Am I correct in that the transmitter comes with 4 AA batteries??? UGH! Can somebody who has one please comment or post a picture of the batt compartment.
I am curious to see if it would be an easy mod to use a 2 cell lipo. I find that AA's are the sign of a cheapo transmitter.

yes that is true, I will post pics in a bit but it does not look very easy to mod into 2s setup.

Hi there
Here are a couple of pictures.......however the supplied "get you going" batteries have lasted 2 hours and counting.......so a decent set of recharge ables should be more than enough.....!!

Thank you for the pics! Yeah looks like a some major hacking to get a 2s installed.

What do you have against AA cells?
Buy some high quality rechargeable ones and you are good to go.
