Merry Christmas,

I have recently purchased a Jeti Spin 44. I had an Align and think it was beginning to go bad. Voltage issues all over. I have not used governor mode before. This ESC has two versions of the mode, along with a traditional outrunner setup. I reviewed my DX7 manual and the speed controller manual. Little info on how to set the pitch curves for each mode. What do I need to set in the DX7 for each mode? Would my throttle curves be linear? Currently my first position is linear and my idleups are not. What is the relationship of the governor settings to these curves.

Thanks

Tony

You will set up linear throttle curves, pitch curves as normal.

You should start with a fairly low throttle curve and tach the headspeed. Then increase until you get to your desired headspeed. With most govs, you don't want to set a throttle curve above 85% or so to give the gov some hearoom to use to maintain headspeed

Hi

What would be an example of the throttle curve for startup then switching to Idle 1? Upon startup would the curve be 0 to 100% linear, then 80% across Idle 1?

No, Normal would be something like 0 - 75 - 75 - 75 - 75

Idle Up would be something like 85 - 85 - 85 - 85 - 85
