Just finished the build on a new GSR260 but am having problems with the actual linkage lengths (between the plastic ball ends). The manual seems to be a bit off the mark so hopefully someone can post their linkage lengths for the following:
1. the short ball links to blade holders;
2. the medium links to flybars
3. the long links from swash to "washout" - think that is what they're called.
Thanks very much...

Just to claify here:
The Japanese manual provides the following linkage measurements:
A. 1.5mm
B. 14mm
C. 35.5..
At the lowest point of the swash the pitch is +9 degrees and the top 13 degrees.
Something is clearly wrong!

Hi Karbon brid
Me again I think and I’m only thinking out aloud here but check the rods & links going to your swash plate, to your bell cranks going to your servos, they could be to long or to short!! It sounds like there to short!! some times the Manual’s miss lead you, it happened to my Gasser build.
Give that a try nothing to lose

Thanks magasser ..
Strangely it seems that those linkage lengths are not in the Japanese Manual. I note that the English manual head setup is completely different so can't rely on them. Also, the elevator is actually a fixed metal structure which can't be adjusted like the standard rods, so in a way that one seems to dictate the length of the others. In addition to this the elevator has two locking screws in place but the elbow on the elevator requires a 90 degree angle, further influencing the height of the swash....
I will definitely go through the setup again based on your suggestion and see what happens.
