I have to say this again!
How great are these people?
Last Saturday my heli went down due to cables coming loose in my Duralite regulator in flight. I emailed Duralite stating these facts and asking for advice. Their swift reply arrived and it pretty much only says that a new one is going out from them right away and that I can mail my broken one back to them. Just like that! No questions asked, just "a new one is coming your way". But wait, I live in Sweden!
Great people indeed!
Of course I will also have to pay to get the old one back to them but given this kind of service this is a tiny price to pay! (Then again it was my Hirobo Eagle 3 that went in so this cost is nothing in comparison with the repair cost. :D Oh well...)

I'll have to agree with you, man!
These guys know how important it is for us to fly on the weekends and will go the extra miles to make it happen for us!
Thanks Jack and the whole Duralite team!

Your cables came out of the duralite regulator? Eeek...I'm glad they replaced it, just makes me a little cautious about those cables. Did they break clean off from the solder joint?

The cables looked as if they were ripped or vibrated away from the circuit board in the regulator. As I had made sure the cables were not stretched I can only guess that a vibration "wiggled" them loose. I didn't open the reg to look at the board so I don't know how that surface looked like.

All the Duralite regulators made for the last couple months at least have strain relief built into them. They changed the way they are put tpgether to make damn sure this kind of thing will not happen again. Way to go Duralite!!!

I too noticed they changed the way the regulators leads come out.....they siimply wrap it over the regulator before heat shrinking it....simple yet effective.
I must also comment on their GREAT service. I had recently lost a battle with terra firma and after the fact realized that while the output lead to my Duralite was good, the charging lead was shot. I contacted them to see if i could send it in to have it looked at. They shot me a Return Authorization and said they were sorry to hear about my bad luck. I know that sounds simple, but it actually meant something to me that the guy said he was sorry to hear about my crash instead of just shooting me a RA.
So, i sent it in....i let the company pay for that shipping. And i waited patiently until I heard back on what it would cost to repair. To my amazement, a week later, i heard back and the message was that they had to replace the circuit board in my pack and that this was done free of charge and the unit shipped back out that day. The very next day the battery showed up sent USPS priority mail, and they picked up the tab.
As mentioned, they must must fly helis themselves and understand the withdrawls we go through when we're not in the air. I'm now a loyal customer for life, i can tell you that much.
