I have been trying to get the max cyclic and pitch out of my head. My problem is when I have 13 or 14 pitch , have it full negative, and give it full input the swash rubs on the bearing blocks. So I went into my swash menu on my DX 7 and limited it down, but it just doesn't have enough throw for my needs, especially on the elevator. So I was looking at the metal bearing blocks on ready heli. I noticed that the area that my swash rubs on is cut out on the metal blocks.

So should I buy the metal bearing blocks? Does anybody on here use them?

Also, would the new swash and washout make a difference?

I have the metal bearing blocks(the Align ones). I just took a peek, and it does look like due to the "cutout" on the front and rear of the block, you may gain a slight amount of clearance but I can't be sure of that.

I have the new swash/washout kit ordered, I can't say if you'd get more clearance out of that part or not.

How do you know if you have the old swash and washout?

New swash has some lettering on the top of it, and the washout arms are metal instead of plastic.

ive got the align metal bearingblocks and the upgraded swash/washou. i'm running +/- 14* pitch and 9* of cyclic w/ the only binding is at with the sticks in the corners. and it doesn'tbind on the blocks, the inside of the swash rubs on the mainshaft collar.

How much cyclic do you have dialed in now?

I have between 12 and 13 degs of pitch with 8 deg on cyclic. With the 440mm flybar I have too much cyclic. Since Ive set it up with 8degs cyclic, not once have I needed full cyclic. The cyclic is very free in tic tocs and pyro flips. Just a little movment and its there.

I just got my upgraded swash/washout set today.

When you replaced it did you have to do much re-adjusting of the links or was it a straight bolt-on?
