I was going to ask this question in another thread but did not want to take it off topic. Is it possible to get a metal see-saw for the 600N? Ive just realised my "NEW" 600N kit came with the old swash and washout assembly so I would like to upgrade to all metal head. Ive looked everywhere for a metal see-saw but with no results. Found swash and washout and also see-saw arms but ne see-saw?
Thanks
Tom

I got my metal see saw from fastlad performance in the UK
here's a link to what you want http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/product_info.php?cPath=22_145_72&products_id=1194
They are really good on delivery and stock as well

Doh I'm a doofus, I thought he said quick-uk... And I see you're in the UK so it would make sense for you to get it from FastLad...

What is the point of the new swash and washout?

Well I want to say the new swash is less likely to develop slop(apparently some of the old-style swashes were getting sloppy after a short period)...
Not sure about the washout and arms, I thought I read on the otherr site a while back that the phasing was changed slightly, whatever that is:)
Tom, the Align metal grips will work on either the 600E or 600N. They have identical headblocks and feathering shafts.

I think the new washout arms have bearings in them.

I think the kit continues to be supplied with the old style swash. That way Align get to sell you a second ;)
I'm tempted to do this instead as its sweet with the QuickUK swash
Tom,
Have a look at the link below for Midland Helicopters, they have just about every Align upgrade and they are in the UK.
I have used them in the past and found them to be very knowledgeable.

At the very bottom is the all new swash and washout. Are the ones suppose to come with this as standard now?

Yes, sweet isnt it! I'm torn between that and the metal Align upgrades. I have the Align grips so that money is spent, oh the choices!
The quick swash is real nice and comes in a nice range of bling colours. I think I would go for that rather than the new Align one, just not sure about the rest of the head. I have the QuickUK tail grips and they are nice too, but the Kasama ones are a little slicker.
If I could only learn to fly better I might appreciate the difference rather than just the finish ;)

Yeah its a nice head, Finless did an install vid in his techroom and in that he said you keep the stock swash so it sounds a great idea to get the QUK swash in there! Ive just ordered all the metal upgrades for the head so i think i will wait till ive buried it and possibly go for the kasama then!
Yeah must admit, i keep thinking that all these extras im buying are going to make a crash more expensive but what the hell!! looks are everything!!

I'm not sure that it will increase your crash cost too much, if the 450 V2 is anything to go by. With a plastic headed Rex, all those parts smash to bits quite easily and need replacing but the alu parts in the V2 head are very tough and take quite a beating. The result is a cheaper crash if anything.
Hopefully the same is true of the 600N. There is the point that few sacrificial plastic parts can be good, so those cheap bits break instead of something costly, but this is just a theory and would depend on the crash I would think?
But like you, I am a sucker for bling

Yeah i spose there is the fact that the metal upgrades are harder to break:thumbup:
