Hdx550

Does anyone have any info on teh HDX550? There was a reference to this helicopter at HeliDirect. Seems like it might be a Hurricane 550 clone.

The HDX550 is in design, currently head and tail sets are being offered as an upgrade to a Guai 550. But soon there will be a HDX550 Heli kit. So.... I assure you its no clone. Being that I am designing the one to be released.

You have my interest with this in more ways than one. I already have a H 550 that is a teddy bear to fly in stock form over a Trex 450. A HDX 550 would have a welcome place inn the market. Rather than upgrade I would go for the kit. Crash replacements are another story... lets not got there, until we have to.

Can you give us any info on it like dimensions, etc. Will it use a carbon fiber frame? When is Helidirect planning on releasing in?

Its has moved from design to prototype parts are being made now for me to soon test more will follow on this
