Is anyone familiar with the Synergy N9 Heli?
The read up on it looks pretty good. And the way their talking about it on the their web site it looks pretty easy to work with ..
Any Pro / ConS?

I've heard you have to invest in Hyper parts to get it to run right; I'm not entirely sure though. If you wanna get an N9, wait a bit and get the N9SE.

I know you were inquiring about a Synergy, but I have a couple 'o Stratuses and they're the bomb. If I were to ever buy another heli, it would be a Stratus or whatever else MA comes out with.

I've been flying the Synergy for over a year now and it is by far the best machine that I've owned and flown. In the beginning it had it's growing pains and they continue to improve upon a great machine.

You DO NOT have to have all of the Hyper parts to get them to fly awesome. The ONLY Hyper part I would recommend to absolutely have is the Hyper Hub. It just takes a lot less time to dial indicate and get it to run true compared to the stock setup. The other Hyper parts are very nice but not required to have an excellent performing machine.

They are going to be coming out with an SE version, although I personally wouldn't wait for one. The Synergy in it's current form is an excellent performer and it's very easy to work on. I've owed MA products and they are also nice but have a higher parts count and take a bit more in maintenance compared to the Synergy.

You will really enjoy the locked in feeling of the Synergy.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I sure will. Thanks for all the help. i was looking at getting one more Heli, but I've been torn between two differant ones. I always like to keep and Electric and an Nitro/Gas one around. I have the Maxi Joker 2 and Synergy N9 in mind.
I am going to add them both by January.

No the Synergy is not more difficult to setup compared to the 600N. You do have to add delay into the gyro for the tail setup on the Synergy. The Synergy has a very solid drive system so the gyro delay will help dampen the stress on the tail. Not difficult at all to setup.

Joker's are excellent machines too. My friend has Jokers for AP work.

This is good stuff. I too was torm between a T-Rex 600N and the N9. I noticed that the N9 was the only ship I've seen that recieved perfect scores from RC Heli Mag. Plus I have a local hobby store 20 minutes from my house that carries them.

Any advice on servos, engine, controller, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few options but this is what I would go with:

JR 8717 servos (3)
Some other JR servo for the throttle
Futaba GY611 Gyro
Fromeco Arizona regulator
Fromeco 5200 mah Li-ion battery
YS91SR with the Hatoria SB19FH muffler
Multi gov
Hyper hub

There are some setup tips that you should follow to get things adjusted correctly. Let me know when you get one and I can point you in the right direction.

This is great stuff - Thanks!! :-D

I plan to purchase somewhere between 30-60 days from now. In a perfect world, it will be just when the SE is released.
