gear ratio

hi just now i am runnin a 8:18 with a ys91 and a mp2 however i need a new 16t pinion gear if i changed to a 15t what would the gear ratio be and would i be able to use it with my ys and mp2. as i can not get hold of a 16t pinion gear over hear in the uk and i wud like 2 go flyin this weekend .

? The motor pinion is an 11 tooth, the tail drive pinion is a 16 to 15 tooth but that does not affect the motor gear ratio.

The tail drive ratio would be changed if you change the bevel gear. 16 tooth = 4.375 : 1 and 15 tooth is 4.66 : 1. The 15 tooth is better for stronger tail control especially in auto's.
