Another quick BC6 question guys,

I have been lead to believe that the BC6 will balance in 2 modes, Balance mode and Fast charge mode. Is this true, if so when should I do a full balance routine in the Balance program or is just fast charging them ok. On checking at the end of a cycle on fast charge all 3 cells are in balance.

I am running 2 Align 3 cells and a Flight power EVO 25 all charged at 1C 2.1Amps.

I just got my BC6 a week ago and was wondering the same thing. You can only charge at a specific C rating for the battery. I guess I really don't understand the difference between the two yet being you can use the same charge rating in both modes.

Anytime you have the battery connected to the balance on the e-Station BC-x chargers, the charger will display the cell voltages.

The Balance charge, Fast charge, and Discharge programs will actively balance the pack.

The Fast charge program extends the CC portion of the charge and skips the CV portion of the charge. This will get your battery to about 93-95% charged and cut down on the total charge time.

So just to clarify it is ok to just do a fast charge with balance lead connected, the only down side being it will not be quite fully charged.
