I just got a mini Titan e325 and all it was missing was a RX, i installed a Futaba R606FS to match my 6EX TX. Servos already installed are Tower Pro SG90 (x4) and the HH gyro is a Telebee GR201, which seems to be giving me a headache.

I believe the tail starts "hunting" when the head gets up to speed, and just at liftoff point, the heli will start spinning out of control until i just shut the throttle. My experience with adjusting gyros is very limited, i have also a GY401 with DS servos on my TREX 450 and had no problem like this at all.

I would think the problem should be cured by adjusting the gain screw, but nothing i try seems to help. Just can't keep that tail steady!!! Any help appreciated

Hey,

Just an idea but could the gyro's sense be reversed, eg. sensing the tail drifting then applying the wrong tail input to compensate which in turn makes the model spin wildly. This is something I have seen in the past when a faulty 601 kept reversing itself.

I'm inclined to think this is your problem as the tail sounds like it is going hard over and being heading hold it is trying to maintain it's current direction but cannot do so as it's applying the wrong tail control.

See if your rudder direction is reversed...I think the tower pro servo you are using is not up to par for a tail servo. The least you can use is an HS 81 from hitec. Also see Bob's video on telebee servo set up.

The servo is fast enough. Sounds like either rudder channel or servo is reversed.
