Neet video, but I would think the exhaust would fry the tail in that configuration.

Keep the votes coming guys. Vote early, vote often. LOL.
Had two crashes with my 450.Both times lost power to servos but motor still ran.Hit throttle hold both times. Before this happened the Align esc would loss its programing once in awhile. Installed a CC35 esc no more problems.Have not had any problems with glithes or lockouts on any of my other helis or planks. All helis and planks on DX7.Only Spektrum product that I am not happy with is the cheap servos that came with the DX6 everyone of them went bad without any crashes on my Parkmite.

2 brown outs on over 400 flights on 4 helis (only one has had brown outs) I am in the habit now of running more amp range then I need on a bec as on 2 flights I had a strange large amp draw on a 450. After replaceing all balls and links full bearing replace and changing out all 3 hs 65's and finaly the esc (could have ben crash damage in esc) no problem. I would get spikes of 2+ amps in bench tests that made brown outs. happened on 2 escs beyond the first. All origanal servos and the esc got taken out of service (servos back to hitech for replacement, esc on my desk) flys great now and 0 brown outs sence. But I wont fly my 450's on less then 3a now (safety net that may be uncalled for) the only other problem I had was my fualt. didn't look at servo plugs at preflight and almost lost my 600.
Oh and always rang test from all sides on new bird or rx placement.

There was one over on RCG, video of a flight that ended in a crash (plank) the question was asked Borown Out or Tip Stall. the early guesses were all Brown Out.
Pilot admitted low power, back elevator and tip stall/spin/crash.
Not ALL crashes are brownouts. :)

I'd really like to know who's had issues running only 4.8 volt NiMh or NiCd packs. Defective BEC's would have caused a crash eventually anyway.
Plus, they've mostly been on 450's. Who's flying it on bigger nitro ships with no reg?
Maybe a new poll?

I run it on the Tiger 50 on 4.8 and a 3000mAh batt. No problems.

Well, it looks like those without major issues outweigh those who have had issues by a pretty good margin. And those that have had issues are often explainable due to power or other "soft" issues. I feel better about using my X9303. JR/Spectrum has some great products in this family. Just got the TINIEST little 6 Channel reciever (R6300) with 4 Micro servos, and I'm building a little foamie plank that will be less then 6 oz all up! This would be great in a Gaui 200 which is also on my list. LOL.
