Hummingbird Main Rotor Head Yoke Upgrade Kit

Hi all,
I just got this Main Rotor Head Yoke Upgrade Kit from http://www.heli-world.com/detail.aspx?ID=3195 and there are no instructions. I have it all installed but where does the white/clear "plastic" piece go? and the rubber O rings? My old V1 head didn't have either.

Hey,

The rubber O rings are not needed, I have always asked why they are included but never got an answer. Having said that they do make good skid stoppers for when your flying indoors off the shiny gym flooring ;-)

The clear/white piece is the head stiffner, basically you attach the blades as normal but before you add the retaining screws place this plastic piece across the bottom of the rotor plate and over the blade roots. The centre cutout clears the rotor hub moulding & it gets sandwiched between the blade and the supplied steel washers, you will notice the holes on either end of it fit over the spiggots moulded onto the head plate for the blades. Then you just need to do the same on the opposite side.

It basically bridges across the underside of the main blades to add stiffness and is clamped in place by the blade screws.
