hi all.
ive been flying my lepton for about 10months on a 3s setup. i am now flying a more aggressive style which bogs down the drive. i am flying loops, rolls, flips and inverted. so i have just purchased a kora 15/14 and am now trying to decide on 4s or 5s. having read all post on motor/battery setup, it seems that 4s is sports and 5s is for 3d. as i am not doing 3d yet, should i go for 4s, then upgrade when the time is right, or 5s straight of. any help is much appreciated,

andy

I would say go right to 5s.
No need to keep changing your setups.
4s would probably do fine for you but the 5s setups can get longer flight times and keep the motor cooler. Either way you will get a good power increase over the 3s setup.

Some are running 6s now. :smokin:

Mudbogger,

On 6S? what motor and pinion used was used? I have a mind to connect 2x3s1p packs just to maximize my existing batteries. They say the Kora motors cant handle 6s also.

Kora 15-14 with 21 tooth pinion.

I never ran 6s. 5s had plenty of nuts for me.

6S exceeds the max RPM of the Kora 15-14
Not sure I would worry too much about that
The Kora 15-16 is the 6S motor I think
Hyperion have a model of the 3025 for 6S
