Go to your local hobby shop and buy some nyrod(spelling)it should have a blue or red outer case and a yellow inner rod....i use the yellow rod and thread my receiver antenna through that and secure it to the boom support at the horizontal fin with zipties.....just cut the rod to the desired length....works great and looks great.....wish i had pics to show....if you need any further help let me know.....oh yeah..i route the yellow rod through the small holes on the underside of the skids.....the raptors have these holes....not sure about others........i gotta get a digital camera,it would do wonders for showing you what i mean
Stay away from metal and carbon fiber as much as possible. Better yet try a base loaded antenna(deans antenna for example) if you can, they install cleanly with nothing dangling off your heli. Again you want to keep these away from metal and carbon pieces. I recently switched to one of these(as well as a hitec Rx) and my range checks improved a lot.
Thanks guys for your input :D

Isolation is the key, wrap little pieces of servo tape to the boom supports before ziptying to it, or even better/thicker is small pieces of fuel tubing slid over the plastic antenna tube, then ziptie around the fuel tubing spacers, oh and fuel tubing on the ends keep the antenna from bending around the sharp plastic tube edges
