Hi.
Could someone please clarify for me the throttle hold position.
On my DX 7 the T/H is set to the rudder dr switch. When turning the tx on this switch is in the off or 0 position, otherwise the alarm sounds.
So far so good.
I have my esc set for heli fixed endpoints and if my understanding is correct, my moving the throttle stick should not get any response until the hold switch is put in the on or 1 position.
Is this correct?.
In my setup moving the throttle stick with the hold switch in the off or 0 position still allows the heli to ramp up, moving the hold switch to the on or 1 position stops the motor.
Something wrong here but for the life of me I can't figure this out. HELP!!!

Nope, backwards.

The Tx has to be turned on with the TH OFF. And that way the throttle WILL work.

So as soon as you turn on your Tx, you flip the Hold switch to ON, to keep the heli from accidently spooling up.

Thanks Pinecone, if there is a hard way to do something I always find it.
