Okay guys,
I just bought a brand new 600n pro. Out of the box in step 3 where you assemble the head, the flybar seesaw holder is binding when I tighten the collar screw into the head (only on one side-I can tighten down one side and it moves freely but if i I barely tighten down the other side it binds and locks down). Also the bearing (623ZZ) is defective from the factory. When I gently pulled the bearing out to check to see if it was seated right it came apart in my hand! What can I do to fix the binding issues and does Align warranty defective parts?
I would appreciate any help!

I had no problem with the seesaw assembly with mine binding. It sounds to me that that faulty bearing would have something to do with it. If I would you I would think I had two options.
1) Return the seesaw assembly to the place of purchase and ask for a replacement.
2) Upgrade to the Align metal seesaw and your problem will be solved.
I have just upgraded my head to all metal and it is really nice:thumbup:
If you decide to return it for a replacement however and you dont get anywhere with your supplier I would contact Align direct and they should sort you out;)
Also have you seen all of Finless's build videos for the nitro build? They are very useful for things that are not mentioned in the manual:thumbup:
Thanks

Bad luck about the bearing - if you bought local go back to the LHS and they should help you out - probably quickest to order a seesaw bearing replacement set (http://www.wattsuprc.com.au/product_detail.asp?pid=H60087).
I have notced that the Seesaw can bind on some T600 heads and that the collar screws need to be tightened gently and evenly until it just starts to bind then you have to rely on the Loctite - I have never had one come loose !!

The reason that the seesaw holder binds is because it's molded wrong.
The screw that goes through the seesaw into the headblock is only threaded halfway. You're SUPPOSED to be able to snug it up so that it holds the inner race of the bearing tight and not push the seesaw up against the headblock.. But because the seesaw is molded too thick, it rubs the headblock. I just took a file and removed a little material from the inside of the seesaw around the hole where the screw went through, and I was able to tighten the screw down all the way. If you get another seesaw, it might have the same problem.

+1
Had the same problem on the plastic seesaw and on the alu seesaw.
The alu one it was binding very bad, so bad i managed to destroy one bearing on it.
Bought another one and have no binding at all on that one.
Looks like its lotto when you get one, some are fine, some are not.

This may explain the binding I experienced when building mine back in June. But I've got over 60 flights on it now so either the bind has worked its way out or it isn't binding bad enough because the flight handling doesn't seem affected. Next time I'm taking the head apart I'll have to check.
