Hi,

I have several sets of woodies form my ep200. Is anyone using these? I read somewhere they are supposed to be better than the plastic blades.

They don't come with any root reinforcement. They just have a bare hole at the end of the blade. Is this OK?

I built the heli with plastic blades initially and installed them straight into the blade grips, not using the plastic washer that came with the grips.

The woodies are a lot looser in the grips and need the washer to make them a nice sliding fit in the grip. Does the washer go on the top of the blade or the bottom?

Regards,

You should soak the end of the blade in thin CA to toughen the root area.

Take a piece of plastic and make a small cup, put a good bit of thin CA in and dip the root of the blade in it for a bit of time, maybe 10 - 15 seconds.
