YS50 - Align muffler ok? Any special attention with the tank?

I am putting together my 600 nitro with a YS50 and I am wondering if the tank can handle the extra pressure. On other birds I wrap the tank so it will not expand and crack. Is this necessary on the 600?

Anybody flying an Align muffler on the YS50? how does it look?

All the 600's ive seen running with the YS have noproblems with the tank. I have also seen the align pipe on the YS.

Here is a pic of the align muffler, although its on a hyper (couldnt find a YS:arggg:)

I have heard many reports that the Align pipe works well and performs excellently, but is noisy.

Also quite a few people reporting that it doesn't last long and it falls apart inside making it sound like marbles are rattling around? I'm not sure if this is now resolved but it was an issue with early versions. Anybody with experience that can comment?

I use a YS with an Align pipe and it works great. At first I was using the MP5 pipe with my YS and it didn't do very well, but once I put that Align pipe on it was awesome.

The old Align pipe would fall apart inside or split in half (mine split in half). They fixed it to a different design, now it's great, no problems to speak of.

GO WITH YS 50 and ALIGNPIPE! Man this combination is just awesome. I fly it in my Nitro. Believe me this is the best combo you can get. You´ll be amezed how it performes ;)

I hear the tone is a little "pingy" but the power far out weighs it. This is the combo I will run when I get home and I am looking forward to it.
