Hi there,

I searched the whole hdx part of the forum for a list with the right length for the linkages in that hdx500 rotor head.

The pictures and hints I got (thanks for that picture aussiemick) are not helpfull for me to get me the right setup.

I even tried finless build videos for the t-rex 450se to get me some idea of what I do wrong.

But nothing helps.

Here are my length of the linkages sorted by the build steps on the manual:

Step 6:
Pitch linkage rod (A): 23 mm middle of the hole to middle of the hole. 4,75 mm in between the two plastik things
Stabilizer control linkage rod (B): 34 mm middle to middle of the holes. 0 mm in between the two plastik things
Mixing arm rod (C): 51 mm middle to middle of the holes. 17 mm in between the two plasitk things.

Step 8: SWM T-type lever swash linkage rod (D) and the rear one (E): Like shown in the manual.

With that length of the linkages I get an unsymetric -5 / +13 setup on the head.

If I try to get that symetric to +/- 10, the linkages are either way to long or the slider on the main shaft is been pulled down to far so, that it glitches out of the two metall things on the top part of the head.

I use the middle hole in that main shaft to fix the main gear.

Can anyone please help me. I have nobody else to asked ...

Thanks in advance.

Use the lowest hole on the main shaft :) Set collective on TX @ 50%. Set swash @ 50% (on main shaft..no links attached. Set servo arms level with servo case (horizontal). Now see if the links are close and adjust as needed. Also....the manual shows the proper length http://helidirect.com/upload/HDX500SAH_Manual_Full_V1.2.pdf

Thanks,

my HDX500 is the SE - version but as far as I could read the manual now (Iīm sitting in my office at work) the shown length are way different from the ones that, are shown in the SE Manual.

I will try those this afternoon.
